Our agency is here to help you with any difficulties you may have experienced in the past or may presently be experiencing. A Balanced Path is a Recovery Based Behavioral Health Model of Outpatient Treatment. We offer multiple levels of care to assist you in addressing a variety of problems; not only those associated with chemical dependency, substance abuse or mental health issues but also assessing social, family, educational, and/or occupational difficulties and other concerns such as anger management or domestic violence. We offer individual counseling/therapy sessions, group counseling sessions, family and couples sessions, educational services, alternative services and case management services in order to assist you in bringing balance to your life.
The staff of A Balanced Path is committed to assisting you in accessing services within our community in order to meet your individual needs, such as medical, educational, and/or dental assistance as well as attaining employment and/or housing. We maintain a flexible schedule in order to allow multiple opportunities for you to participate in your healing process. We offer evening hours as well as Saturdays in order to accommodate your schedule.
We are pleased to offer “Outpatient Treatment” as it will allow you to continue to be available in all the areas of your life outside of the treatment setting to assure that you are available to meet your other needs as well as be available to continue responsibilities of your daily living situations.
All of the assessments which were or will be conducted for you will help us to determine a direction of treatment that has been proven to enhance your situation and stabilize areas of your life that have been problematic. You will then have a Counselor/Therapist assigned to you to help you meet any goals you may have and/or issues that need to be addressed. You will correspond with your Counselor/Therapist to create a treatment plan to help you achieve step-by-step strategies to assist you in resolving problematic situations and any goals you wish to achieve while here at A Balanced Path.
We will also help you plan to achieve any goals that you may wish to obtain after your treatment with us. We will provide you with information, education, and skills to develop a greater sense of well being and balance through the Recovery Process. You will have an opportunity to attend group therapy sessions which may focus on relapse prevention, chemical dependency, DWI education, life skills, recovery skills, domestic violence, anger management, and alternative therapies, such as nutrition and employment. These groups are designed to provide you with the opportunity to offer your experience and support to others who are in situations that may be similar to yours as well as having the help of others who understand your problems and wish to share their success and skills with you. We are here to assist you with your individual needs as all of our clients may have specific goals, experiences, and problems and may also come from different backgrounds.
We are a culturally diverse agency with a staff that has great experience with assisting a variety of populations, such as combat veterans, Spanish speakers, and Native Americans as well as all cultures and populations, just to list a few. We are here to offer you a safe, warm environment to assist you in obtaining a balanced path in your life.
At A Balanced Path, our staff is licensed and has many years of experience in treating addiction-oriented problems as well as co-occurring disorders, which may include depression, anxiety, anger control, and/or susceptibility to stress. We also treat clients who are identified as suffering from PTSD, trauma, and/or abuse. We have a qualified medical staff-member that can make diagnoses and prescribe short term medications should this be a needed course of treatment to help you stabilize during this time of transition towards recovery and your lifelong well-being. If you are unaware of exactly what is troubling you, our staff have numerous ways to discern what may be occurring with you and are able to help you in choosing a proven method to address these issues to once again bring stability and peace to your life.
